I love macro shots. A macro camera lens is used for close ups. They can be tricky to use as they give a very shallow depth of field, meaning that it’s very easy to take an image of something out of focus. I love the ‘out of focus’ bokeh effect & it’s a real people pleaser but only if the intended subject is in focus with everything else out of focus.
Anyway, that’s a bit of the technical detail. What I wanted to say 🙂 is that I love getting the engagement (& wedding bands if available) images on the morning of a wedding. The engagement ring is usually the symbol of where the wedding plans all started & there’s usually a story behind the choosing & buying of the ring. I usually include it at the start of the wedding album & it’s lovely to have a really detailed image of something that itself contains so much detail & beauty.
