Global greening has been an Irish Tourism initiative since 2010.  According to tourism Ireland this year there are 437 confirmed landmarks & sites around the world are going green.  You can find a list of them here.

The Galway hookers look magnificent in the evening when they reflect their different Irish flag colour combinations in the Claddagh Basin.

The art installation by John Ruffley is being guarded day & night & gives us locals a focal point at a time when it is most welcome.
